Dr. Eleni (Elina) Michopoulou

I am a tourism researcher and I am interested in all aspects of tourism behaviour. My research is concentrated on travellers' requirements for accessible tourism experiences (particularly of people with disabilities) and the barriers that counter opportunities of tourism for all. I am also interested in wellness tourism and what that means for both individuals and destinations. All facets of technology adoption, acceptance and use (predominantly of social media), pre-,  during, and after-trip for any type of travel I find exciting and intriguing.
